SAP cannot connect to the DDE every time

If you have multiple SAP application servers, make sure that the DDE is accessible from all of them (no firewalls are blocking the communication).

Sometimes administrators forget to add firewall rules for all application servers. In this case some jobs will be able to extract data to the DDE (if they are executed on an application server that has access to the DDE), some not.
