The SAP service user is an OS user called SAPSERVICEXXX where XXX is the SAP SID, so for example SAPSERVICEWRD. That OS user must have full access to the download directory specified in the configuration.
Additionally, make sure that the folder is readable and writeable by the users who will use the product. This requires authorization object S_DATASET to be set up.
